Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This is a plain-language template for a small IT services business. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer and adapt it to your registered entity before relying on it with paying clients.

1. Who we are

CloudHelm ("we", "us", "our") provides IT, cybersecurity and automation services, including managed website hosting, protection, domains and related work. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Services and plans

We offer one-off project work (quoted individually) and recurring monthly plans (Starter, Business, Pro). What each plan includes is described on our website at the time you subscribe. We may improve or adjust the contents of a plan with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

You need an account to request and track services. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Payment and billing

5. "Protection" - what it means

Where a plan or service refers to "protection", it means measures such as off-site backups, Cloudflare (DDoS/WAF), software updates and uptime monitoring. We do not guarantee that any website or system is immune to attack, downtime or data loss. Security reduces risk; it cannot eliminate it.

6. Your responsibilities

7. Third-party services

We rely on third parties (for example hosting providers, Cloudflare, domain registrars and email providers). Their own terms apply to those parts, and we are not responsible for outages or changes on their side.

8. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data, except where the law does not allow us to limit that.

9. Termination

Either of us can end a plan or engagement with reasonable notice. We may suspend or end services immediately if fees are unpaid or the terms are seriously broken. On termination we will, on request and where practical, help you move your site, data or domain elsewhere.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which CloudHelm is registered. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
